Galleri - Gistiheimili Laugarvatn

When I am in Laugarvatn, I like staying here. The venue is a bit expensive, nonetheless it offers stunning location and has helpful staff.

Everything was great during 1 day, enjoyed its marvellous and gorgeous location just next door to the main touristic attractions around Thingvellir, the cafe, and coffee next door. Had bright room complete with lovely hot shower, attractive furnishings, for example. All the services were good. The food was freshly made and delicious, included cheese and meats.

The breakfast was nice with breathtaking views and the cooked eggs and delicious waffles, worth the price. All the employees were incredibly nice and flexible.

The hotel of choice in Laugarvatn. Lots of cheese and meats at breakfast. Welcoming staff, inviting, fairly quiet room with lovely hot shower and shared bathroom plus very comfortable furnishings.

The stuff are accommodating and amiable, and the host too. The breakfasts are exceptionally nice with breathtaking views, waffles plus the cooked eggs...

the restaurant was great with very helpful and friendly staff here, i had hot dishes. the location was great and stunning - just walking distance from everywhere i wanted to go. it was a good area, an interesting place for me.

Nestled in the scenic mountains, the guesthouse offers a tranquil retreat in beautiful surroundings. the rooms are beautifully furnished, with comfortable beds and spacious layouts. the attentive staff provides personal service, making guests feel welcomed. Breakfast is delicious, especially the waffles. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain and relax in the cozy ambiance of the gallery.

Some guests may find the lack of a TV in the room inconvenient.

Friendly and cute hosts. Close proximity to Laugavatn Fontana thermal pools. Gluten-free bread provided for breakfast. Nice little shop.

Nothing it is perfect.

Our stay was a pleasant experience. 5 minutes walk from central Laugarvatn. The breakfast was included and had lots of meals. After the arrival, we met host, who was great. The rooms are tidy.

the rooms are good sized and the bed is comfortable. really loved its mountain views.

It was a wonderful stay we had in Galleri Laugarvatn. The breakfast was amazing - wonderful waffles and wonderful bred with fish salad. We could have stayed there whole day.

This place was a joy--beautiful setting, very friendly owners. Great breakfast. Rooms and bathroom very nice--though we shared a bathroom, it was not a problem and was very spacious and clean. I loved having the gallery right there. Couldn't beat the location. I definitely hope to come back.

A lovely bedroom with well appointed furnishings. Very homely with pictures on the walls, attractive bed linen and a comfortable couch. It was located close to the lake and the recommended restaurant was extremely pleasant. A good centre from which to explore this part of Iceland. The breakfast was excellent and was seved in the craft shop among many charming art works.

Sharing a bathroom with 2 other rooms resulted in occasional delays.
